Who we are

This website is operated by NEON EARTH ENERGY LTD, RM/511 5/F Ming Sang Ind Building, 19-21 Hing Yip St, Hong Kong, trading as Falcon ESS. We are the controller of the personal information described below.

What we collect

We collect only what you send us. There is no account to create and nothing to sign up for.

• Enquiries. When you submit the contact form we receive your name, email address and message, plus your phone number, company and subject if you choose to give them.
• Technical data. We record the IP address the enquiry was sent from. It is kept to help us identify abuse of the form, nothing else.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard web server logs — IP address, page requested, time, browser — which are generated automatically for every website and are used for security and diagnostics.

We do not ask for, and have no use for, payment details, identity documents or any special category of data such as health, religion or political opinion. Please do not include such information in a message to us.

Why we use it, and on what basis

• To answer your enquiry and, where you have asked for one, to prepare a quotation or technical proposal. This is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.
• To keep a record of what was discussed, so a later conversation does not start from nothing. This is our legitimate interest in running the business properly.
• To keep the site and the form secure. This is our legitimate interest in protecting our systems.

We do not send marketing email, and we do not sell, rent or trade your information to anyone.

Cookies and tracking

The public pages of this site set no cookies, and we use no analytics, advertising or social media tracking of any kind. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

A session cookie is set only in the private administration area, and only for the staff who sign in there. It is strictly necessary for that sign-in to work.

Third parties

A small number of service providers process data on our behalf:

• Hostinger — hosting, the database holding enquiries, and the mailbox the form delivers to.
• Google Fonts — the site loads its Latin typeface from Google servers, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads. Google states it does not use these requests to profile visitors.

Our Arabic typeface is served from our own domain and involves no third party.

International transfers

We are based in Hong Kong and our hosting is provided from data centres in Europe. If you contact us from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and stored in those locations. Where the law of your country requires a safeguard for such a transfer, we rely on our providers’ standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as the commercial relationship is live, and for up to three years after the last contact, so we can answer questions about equipment we have quoted or supplied. After that they are deleted. Server logs are kept for a short period by our host and then rotated away.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the information we hold about you;
• ask us to correct it if it is wrong;
• ask us to delete it;
• object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it;
• ask for it in a portable format;
• complain to your local data protection authority.

Email Info@falcon-ess.com and we will respond within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, so that we do not hand your information to someone else.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Enquiries are stored in a database that is not reachable from the public internet, and access to the administration area is limited to named staff accounts. No system is perfect, but we take the protection of what you send us seriously.

Children

This is a business-to-business website. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and move the date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
